Legal Judgment Grounded in Real Operating Experience

Before I was a lawyer, I built, ran, and exited a business. That changes how I look at contracts, structure, and risk. I do not translate legal into simpler words. I translate it into consequences, priorities, and decisions that need to hold up under real commercial pressure.
Background & Experience
Before practicing law, I spent over a decade building and running businesses, including a publishing and distribution company with international activity. I worked through supplier issues, cross-border distribution, operational decisions, and the commercial constraints that shape real businesses, and ultimately exited that business successfully.
Later, I worked closely with founders, operators, accelerators, investors, and growing companies across advisory, business development, licensing, and strategic execution roles. Those experiences still shape how I approach legal work: not as abstract legal analysis, but as judgment that needs to stand up in negotiations, customer relationships, financing discussions, and long-term growth.
Operating perspective
- •Built, ran, and exited an operating business with international distribution
- •Worked inside accelerators as a director and mentor
- •Advised founders, operators, and growth-stage companies across commercial and strategic issues
- •Structured licensing, partnerships, and cross-border commercial arrangements
My Approach
Legal work does not slow growth down. Bad legal work does.
I have been on both sides of the table. As an operator, I made decisions under commercial pressure with incomplete information. As a lawyer, I have seen what happens when those decisions are not structured properly from the start.
That experience changes what I look for. I focus on consequences: what this clause costs you, what this structure limits, and what this decision looks like six or eighteen months from now when the business is under more pressure.
My work is direct, specific, and built around your actual situation. Clear judgment, practical prioritization, and legal support that fits the business in front of me.
